CBN ya tabbatar da ƙwato N19.3bn kuɗaɗen albashi da gwamnatin Yahaya Bello ta boye

Babban Bankin Najeriya, CBN, ya ce ya karbi Naira Biliyan N19, 333,333,333.36 da EFCC ta ƙwato daga asusun kuɗin albashin jihar Kogi da aka boye Bankin Sterling Plc.

Wannan dai ya kawo ƙarshen shaci faɗe da gwamnatin jihar Kogi ta riƙa yi kan cewa ƙarya ake yi ba a ƙwato kuɗaɗe daga asusun albashin jihar ba.

Maido da kuɗaɗen zuwa babban bankin ya bi umarnin wata babbar kotun tarayya da ke zamanta a Ikoyi na jihar Legas a ranar 15 ga Oktoba, 2021 inda ta bayar da umarnin buɗe asusun albashin jihar Kogin don baiwa bankin Sterling damar miƙa kuɗaɗen da ke cikin asusu zuwa CBN. Mai shari’a Chukwujekwu Aneke ne ya bayar da umarnin a bisa buƙatar da EFCC ta shigar.

A ranar 31 ga watan Agustar 2021, ne Mai Shari’a Tijani Garba Ringim, wanda ke zaman alkali a hutu, ya bayar da umarnin a kulle asusun, biyo bayan wata takardar karar da EFCC ta shigar.

Ana zargin gwamnan jihar Kogi Yahaya Bello ya boye waɗannan kuɗaɗen ne domin ya yi amfani da su wurin yaƙin neman zaben shugabancin Najeriya a shekarar 2023.
